In a major political development supporting the Iran Protests, the Parliament of Luxembourg on Tuesday, January 30, unanimously adopted a resolution—with all 60 members voting in favor—calling for the terrorist designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The resolution urges the European Union to take active and immediate steps toward formally listing the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
The vote took place during an official parliamentary session attended by Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel.
