On October 10, 2024, in The Hague, Netherlands, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered to protest Iran’s alarming execution rates, especially targeting political dissidents. Coinciding with World Day Against the Death Penalty, the rally called for the immediate end of capital punishment in Iran and the release of political prisoners. Protesters held banners and shared the stories of victims, urging the international community and human rights organizations to intensify pressure on the Iranian regime to halt its human rights abuses and support the Iranian people’s quest for a free, democratic Iran.

The protest highlighted Iran’s escalating crackdown on dissent, emphasizing the global need for accountability and intervention. By uniting voices across the Netherlands, this event served as a powerful testament to the resilience of Iranians fighting for freedom.
