Brutal Repression in Iran: Mass Executions, Torture, and Inhumane Acts Exposed
n a shocking display of state-sponsored brutality, Iran\’s clerical dictatorship has once again demonstrated its disregard for human life and basic rights. On August 7, the regime carried out a mass execution of 29 prisoners in a single day, a grim record not seen since 2016. This act sparked widespread protests within the prisons. In response, authorities brutally suppressed the prisoners, using excessive force to quell the unrest.
Just a day earlier, on August 6, 35-year-old political prisoner Reza Razae was hanged in Dizel Abad Prison. Arrested during the November 2022 uprising, Razae endured brutal torture, resulting in severe injuries. Despite international pleas for his release, he was sentenced to death, imprisonment, and lashes.
The regime\’s cruelty extends beyond executions. Recent footage shows morality police violently attacking two teenage girls over alleged improper hijab. One victim, just 14 years old, still bears the physical scars of the assault. In another heinous act, agents were filmed brutally beating a hearing-impaired Afghan migrant child. This incident, broadcast online on August 7, has further fueled outrage against the regime.
